Dynamic Junior Volunteers Club
This program has been designed to increase the number of, and participation by, young volunteers within our club and to ensure that all members develop in the area that they most wish too.
The program aims to help our members aged between 13 and 17 years develop skills in:
• Leadership & team work
• Administration
• Fundraising & organisation
• Coaching
• Umpiring
• Sports participation
Members will work with mentors who will monitor their progress and achievements. After completion of each of the stages, a Club Volunteer certificate and in some of the programs a State certificate will be issued.

This program will:
• Provide young people with the opportunity to develop valuable leadership qualities through participating in sport;
• Develop a skilled volunteers base for our club
• Provide young members with the opportunitiy to work as a team not only in the sport but in all other areas
This program is designed for our members to excel not just in the playing the sport of Netball but in other important areas of Umpiring Coaching and Administration.
Parents and family members of the club will also be encouraged to participate in this exciting new program

How does it all happen?
After meeting with parents and potential members, interested participants will complete a registration form with parent’s signature.
All practical activities will commence after the Easter Break and Conclude in December school holidays with a camp to the Gold Coast.
On the completion of each activity the participant will record entries into their logbook. Space is available for the supervisor to make a short comment about the activity and the coordinator/mentor will sign each completed section.
Once a Step is completed the participant will be awarded a certificate of completion. This will be awarded at the next get-together
At the end of the year members would have been raising funds to support a 4-5 day trip away during the Christmas Holidays to the Gold Coast & Brisbane (details are to be determined by the DJV club).
On Registering each member will receive (please note that items will be dependant on sponsorship of the program)

Logbook
Whistle
Bag (awarded at completion of first certificate)
DJV t-shirts (awarded at completion of development activities)

Umpire shirts will be available for use to wear when umpiring during fixtures and when representing the club while away. These will remain the property of Yaralla Dynamics Netball Club.

JEWELRY: please note that it is a rule that no jewelry is permitted while playing a game of netball for the health and safety OF ALL PLAYERS. Coaches and Team coordinators are asked to remind their team members of this. Players who are found to have studs in their ears tongue lips nose eyebrows belly buttons or bars on any part of their body will be asked to remove themselves from the court and will not be allowed back on until they are removed … SO JUNIOR or SENIORS wait a couple more weeks before getting any new piercing.

MOBIL CARNIVAL: Their will be no Mobil carnival this year due to the number of weeks left and the preparation it takes to organize it.

SUMMER SEASON:

There will be a summer season this year with MIXED and SOCIAL Divisions. The mixed comp is so much fun so if you and your work colleagues want a great way to socialize have fun and get some fitness this is for you. Players already registered with GNA will only have to play court fees. Season will commence Tuesday 10 October – 12 December all teams registering will have to provide a name of an umpire for the team.

REP NETBALL: A representative workshop will be held later this year to put in place processes for any thing to do with Rep it would be great to encourage our coaches and some of our parents to become involved so that GNA have a better view of what people expect and think the players need. I will keep you posted on this development.

I think this is all if you as coaches and team coordinators can really push for people to attend our Orientation to Coaching course and Umpiring and Strapping development it would be very much appreciated ALL CLUB MEMBERS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND.
